Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of iShot ("we", "us") for using the iShot camera app. By installing or using iShot you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The app

• iShot is a camera app for recording videos and taking photos on your phone.
• Most of iShot is free. iShot Pro adds Pro mode, the studio voice presets (Voiceover, Lecture, Street) and the teleprompter on the camera. Writing and saving scripts, every video format, filters, styles, Beautify and Portrait are free.
• Features depend on your phone. Some (for example 4K, 60 fps or HDR video) appear only on phones that support them.
• We may change, add or remove features. We won't take away a paid Pro feature during a period you've paid for without offering a refund for that period.

iShot Pro

• Subscriptions (yearly or monthly) are bought through Google Play and renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in Google Play; Pro then stays until the end of the paid period.
• Free trial: the yearly plan may start with a free trial. If you don't cancel before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription.
• Lifetime: one payment unlocks Pro for as long as iShot Pro is offered on the Google account you bought it with.
• Founding Creator offer: the first 10,000 users who claim it get one year of Pro free, with no payment method and no automatic renewal. One claim per phone; the offer ends when the spots are gone. When the year ends, Pro ends unless you choose to buy it.
• Rewarded ads: you may choose to watch an ad to use all Pro features for 15 minutes, up to 10 times a day, while this option is offered. A recording that has started keeps Pro until it stops. The number of sessions and their length may change.
• Refunds and cancellations are described in our Refunds and Cancellations policy, which is part of these terms.
• Purchases belong to your Google account. To get Pro on a new phone, use the same Google account and tap Restore purchase.
• Prices include taxes where Google Play is required to include them.

Your content

• Your photos, videos, sound and scripts are yours. iShot saves them on your phone; we never upload them and claim no rights to them.
• You are responsible for what you record. Follow the law where you are, including laws about recording other people and their consent.

Fair use

You agree not to:

• copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it;
• get around the Pro checks, use a modified copy of iShot, or misuse purchases, trials, offers or ads (for example claiming the Founding offer again on the same phone);
• use iShot to break the law or to harm others.

We may end Pro, or access to offers, for an account or phone that does any of this.

Third-party services

Purchases are handled by Google Play under Google's terms. Where iShot shows ads or checks purchases, it uses the services named in our Privacy Policy, under their terms.

Disclaimer and liability

• iShot is provided "as is". We work to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will be free of errors or work on every phone. Keep copies of recordings that matter to you.
• To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost recordings, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for iShot Pro in the 12 months before the claim.
• Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country, or liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes and ending

• We may update these terms. We'll show the new date here and at https://ishotcamera.com/terms and, for important changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using iShot after a change, the new terms apply.
• You can stop using iShot anytime by uninstalling it (and cancelling any subscription in Google Play).

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without taking away the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in. Please contact us first — most problems are solved by email.
